In order to try out for a Mustang Competitive team, all players MUST register for tryouts HERE (starting at 9AM on February 1, 2026) after reading all of the information below. Players will not be able to attend tryouts unless they are registered.

Important Information:

• Tryout deposit is non-refundable.***

• ***If your player does not make a Competitive team but chooses to stay with Mustang in Rec, Rec Plus, or Juniors for the fall season, the tryout deposit will be refunded.

• If your player makes a Competitive team, the $100 deposit goes towards the fees due to participate in the program.

• If your player does not make a Competitive team or does make a team but declines the spot offered to them and chooses to not participate in any other Mustang program during the fall season, the $100 tryout deposit will not be refunded.

• It is recommended that players who were a part of the Mustang Rec, Rec Plus or Juniors Programs for the 2025 season also register for Rec, Rec Plus, or Juniors for the 2026 season so they are secured a spot in their respective program in the event that they do not make a Competitive team. If your player makes a Competitive team, the other program fee will be refunded. The club is not responsible for players who do not register separately for Mustang Rec, Rec Plus, or Juniors and do not make a Competitive team.

• The Level I (ECNL & ECNL-RL) & Level II (Pre-ECNL & Elite) program fees can be paid in full or broken into three payments: May (upon team invite acceptance), June 30th, and July 30th.

• The Level III (Comp Select) program fee can be paid in full or broken into two payments. The first payment (1/2 of the fee) is due upon acceptance of the email invite. The remaining balance will be auto charged on July 15th.

NOTE:

1. All players, internal and external, must register to participate in the tryout process.

   • An internal player is anyone who played Comp, Rec, Rec Plus or Juniors at Mustang during the 2025-2026 season. Internal players must attend both the internal AND external dates listed.

   • An external player is anyone who played outside of Mustang during the 2025-2026 season. These players should only attend the external dates listed.

2. Sessions may be added to age groups based on the need for additional evaluations.

3. Registering for a tryout does not guarantee you a spot on a Competitive team.

4. Once teams are formed, the Competitive Registrar will contact families to complete payment for the remainder of the fee due to participate in the program.
